Edith Faye (Reed) Cox, 93 of Waldo, AR passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Edith was born on July 9, 1931, in Gillham, AR and served many years as a caregiver for family and friends in the community. She had a love of nature and the outdoors and spent most of her time hunting and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and one brother. Edith is survived by her son, Clyde Cox and wife Evone of De Queen, daughter, Shirley Johnson of Magnolia, six grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be Monday, January 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Barlow Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Walker officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Signing of the guest book and viewing will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
