Mrs. Edith Dilmore

Edith P. Dilmore, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Arab, Alabama on Friday Feb. 20th.

Edith friends and family knew her by Penny. She was born in Shreveport, LA in 1939. She was one of nine children. But spent most of her young life growing up in Mississippi until marrying husband Charles Dilmore preceded in death where they spent most of their married life in Slidell, Louisiana

raising four children. After her husband retired, they moved to Guntersville AL.

Children and grand children were as follows - Danny Paul Dilmore wife Yen, Barbara Shawn Sawin husband Ragan, Melissa Christen Lewis husband Matt, and youngest son Charles (Chuck) Dilmore who preceded his mother in death.

Edith had five grandchildren. Joshua Paul Ward Dilmore, Danielle Nicole Gallien, Andrew Dilmore, Dustin Christopher Sawin - Preceded in death, Jake Hunter Robinson, and Cory Robinson and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Asa and Clarice Weed.

Mrs. Dilmore also had 6 great grandson children.

Mrs. Dilmore's family will have a celebration of life at a later date not set yet.
