Edith Duffy Obituary
1931 - 2025
Lynnfield - Edith Marie Duffy, of Lynnfield, formerly of Malden and Everett, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Duffy and a devoted and loving mother to John Patrick Duffy and his wife Patricia of Barnstead, NH, and Mary Ellen McDonald and her husband Robert. Edith was a cherished grandmother to Michael Duffy, Scott Duffy, Tricia "Duffy" Elliott, Carolyn McDonald, Robert McDonald, and Daniel McDonald, and a proud great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Family and friends are invited to honor Edith's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, North Shore Chapel, on Friday, December 26th, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Lynnfield. Services will conclude with Edith being laid to rest at Forest Hills Cemetery, Lynnfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Edith's name to Ava Maria Parish, 17 Grove Street, Lynnfield, MA 01940.
