Surrounded by the immense love of his family, Jordan Soroko, 84, of Peabody, formerly of Danvers, Lynnfield, and Malden, passed away on January 13, 2026.

Jordan was the son of the late Irving and Betty Soroko. He graduated from Boston University and had a successful career in sales and marketing. Jordan was a reflection of kindness, generosity, and love for his family. His personality was infectious; you couldn't help but feel happy when around him.

His memory will be forever cherished by his beloved bride of 63 years, Judy (Philips); devoted children Merril and Greg Chin, and Jay and Amy Soroko; his adored grandchildren Taylor Chin and Ashley Suan, Cassandra Chin, Grace, Max, and Samuel Soroko; and dear siblings Gary and Rosalyn Soroko, and Mona and Armen Garo.

Services will be held at Goldman Funeral Chapel, 174 Ferry Street, Malden, on Sunday, January 18, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Ezrath Israel Cemetery, Danvers.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Kaplan Family Hospice House (Care Dimensions) at www.caredimensions.org, or performing a random act of kindness, reflecting the quiet generosity that so deeply defined Jordan's life.

Dear Soroko Family,
Our lives are each filled with twists and turns, but the certainty of death cannot be avoided. In death, we pause and reflect on the many moments we shared with a loved one and the personal ways that their life has affected ours. Jordan was a beloved family member, friend, and sharer of God's love. Although my interactions with him were brief and infrequent, he always made me and my family feel important and loved. We have temporarily lost a giant among men. I look forward to seeing him again beyond this life. He will be forever in my heart. Prayers of love and condolences to all the family back in New England!

Love,
Michael Goodwin

Condolence's to the entire Soroko family.
I did not have the pleasure of meeting Jordan but I did have the pleasure of meeting his wonderful son Jay.I believe Jay is a reflection of the wonderful man Jordan was . I also know his brother Gary as I am good friends with his niece Robin. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May your memories always keep him with you.
Love,

My Dear Judy, Meril and Jay,
My children and I are keeping you all in our prayers. We remember the wonderful days as neighbors on Village Row and Jordan was the first one to come over and welcome us into the neighborhood.
Brian and Julie remember all the fun they had in your pool and Jordan playing with all the kids. May he rest in peace.
Love and blessings,
Beverly Merritt.

Ever since Jordan and Judy moved next door, I could count on his smiling face greeting me whenever I saw him in the hall. Oftentimes, he would break into a song!

Jordan always brightened my backyard parties and he will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Although we only knew Jordan for a short period of time, you could see the sparkle in his eye when he was around his wonderful Judy, and his personality shine - and he had quite the personality. May he rest in peace. John and Kate and Ann Moorman
