Edith Fay Herrera, 91, passed away peacefully February 5, 2025, at her home in Hamlin. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Belvieu Cemetery, Rotan, TX under the direction of Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home.
Born July 26, 1933, Edith was the daughter of the late William and Loda (Hayes) Barnett. She married Paul Herrera on June 6, 1972, in Anson. Edith loved spending time tending to her yard and shelling pecans for the community. If you knew Edith, you knew she was a very feisty lady and will be greatly missed by all.
Edith is preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Marcy; one grandson Corey Furr (Candace); and two great-grandchildren, Liam and Abby.
