The funeral service for Edith Huseby, 86, of Belview, will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Rock Dell Lutheran Church in Belview. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at the Rock Dell Lutheran Cemetery.
Edith Arlene Huseby was born on December 29, 1938, in Cottonwood, MN, to Ervin and Alice (Sander) Huseby. She grew up in Belview and attended District 5 Country School. At age 7, Edith was diagnosed with epilepsy. As a result of her illness, she suffered seizures and was dependent upon her parents for care. After her mother’s death, Edith moved to the Parkview Apartments in Belview. She worked at the DAC in Redwood Falls.
Edith enjoyed embroidery and playing solitaire and Bingo. She also enjoyed playing checkers and Chinese checkers with her nieces and nephews.
Edith died on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Parkview Senior Living in Belview, MN. She is survived by her sister Shirley Hahn of Plymouth and brother-in-law Marvin Preuss of Belview; nieces and nephews Mike (Mary) Preuss of Belview, Mark (Lisa) Preuss of Becker, Kari (Wayne) Rigge of Echo, Lisa Hahn of Plymouth, Rhonda Hahn of Wasilla, AK, Jason (Lori) Hahn of Wasilla, AK; great-nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Geraldine Preuss.
