Edith Irene Johnson

Edith Irene Johnson, age 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in the hospital with loved ones by her side. Edith was born December 9th, 1941 in Caddo County to Lillie Mae Gunn and Elmer E. Bilyeu. She grew up at Hog Creek until she met and married the love of her life, Ole Lars Johnson on June 18th, 1957. Together they had three sons and a daughter.

Edith is survived by two son's, Wayne Edward Johnson and Jonathan Lamar Johnson

12 grandchildren -

Somier Harris, Crystal Johnson, Britney Johnson Supernaw, LaDana Johnson,

Kayla Johnson Purdy, Gina Dolch, Jaryn Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Jaliah Johnson, Shia Johnson, Kali Johnson, Jayzlynn Johnson.

13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, three sister's and countless other special brothers and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. She also held a special place in her heart for her son-in-law, Jim Head, who cared for her during the latter years of her life.

Edith is proceeded in death by her late husband, Ole, one son, Ralph Daniel (Danny) Johnson II, her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Hobbs, her mother, Lillie, daddy, Elmer, her step dad Ray Anderson, two brother's, and a sister.

Edith will be remembered for her christian faith, her sweet soul, her witty banter with her grandchildren, being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
