Edith Lee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ferreira Funeral Services and Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel (Starke) on Jan. 20, 2026.
Lucille Dekle Lee, age 83, of Lawtey, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on June 13, 1942, to the late Robert Dekle and Toledo Dekle. Lucille was raised in Jacksonville and shortly after high school, served her country with great honor in the military. While serving her country, she met her best friend and forever companion, Robert Franklin Lee. Robert and Lucille were happily married and shared many beautiful years together. They were blessed with 2 precious children, 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. More than anything, Lucille devoted her life to her family. She cherished her role as wife and mother and proudly took care of her home and their property. Lucille was very gifted. When not tending to her family, she enjoyed being outdoors on their farm, caring for her vegetable gardens and chickens. Lucille also enjoyed canning and cooking for those she loved. She was certainly treasured and will be deeply missed. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Robert Franklin Lee; and children, Bobbie Lee Houston and Robert Edward Lee.

Lucille is survived by her grandchildren, Anthony (Ashley) Pettis, Micheal Pettis, and Casie Houston; 9 great grandchildren, and extended family who she loved.

Lucille's family will celebrate her life privately. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services and Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel, Starke, Fl. 904-964-5757. Visit www.ferreirafuneralservices.com to sign the family guest book.
