To Vinetta's family and friends:

Vinetta was a high school homeroom classmate who for a long period was one of my several very best female friends. She was someone very well-versed in almost everything and a fierce defender of very close friends and people she admired. While she had extensive formal education beyond high school, I believe her time at Huntington High School was her most cherished and memorable educational experience.

I lost touch with Vinetta over the last few years, but that absence did not diminish the very strong friendship we had over many decades and through the date when she left us.
