Edith R. Miller, 86, passed away July 27, 2024. Beloved daughter to the late William and Emma (nee Linne) Pyfer.
Edith is survived by her children, Robin J. Cashin and Joseph G. Miller III; Sister, Emma Hodges (William); 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Edith was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph G. Miller Jr. and their dear sons, Thomas Miller and William Miller.
Throughout her life, Edith brought joy and comfort to those around her with her kindness; her love knew no bounds. She touched the lives of many with her caring nature. Edith's faith in God was a guiding light in her life, and she was a believer in Christ. Her strong Lutheran faith shaped her outlook on life and relationships. She was a woman known for her compassionate heart, sense of humor, unwavering, unyielding support, and deep faith in God.
In her leisure time, Edith found solace in the pages of science fiction books, immersing herself in imaginative worlds. She also had a passion for music from the 1950s and cherished moments spent singing along to the tunes of that era. Above all, Edith treasured spending quality time with her grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Edith will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her loving family members and many friends who will hold onto the memories of her laughter and kindness. A special mention to Debbie Joyner, Donald Miller, and Gerry Fitzi, who were very dear to Edith and were of great influence in her life.
As we bid farewell to Edith, may we find comfort in knowing that her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved. May she rest in peace as she is embraced by the arms of God in eternal serenity.
Relatives and friends are invited to Edith’s visitation, Friday, August 9th, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Knoetgen-Donohue funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave, Morton, PA followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM. Inurnment is private.
