Edith “Edie” Anna Noke, beloved mother, grandmother and friend of many passed away at the age of 68 in her Stoneham, MA home.

Edie was born on April 13th, 1955 in Somerville, MA.  One of five children, she grew up in Waltham MA, where she would also meet her husband of 32 years, Michael Noke Sr.  Together they raised a family of three having spent many years living in Lowell, Worcester, and Stoneham, MA.  For over 40 years she was a dedicated employee of Hillside Gardens in Stoneham. As she would put it, she was luckily in love twice and spent her later years with George Warnock, sharing their love and families with one another.

Edie loved music, sports and enjoying time with others.  She spent many summers with friends at Hidden Valley Campground in Derry NH, as well on the Warnock family island in Standish, ME.  She will be remembered as someone who lived her life filled with love and on her own accord.

Edie was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Leighton, husband Michael Noke, brother Timothy Leighton and love George Warnock.

Edie is survived by her son Michael Noke Jr, his wife Lisa Noke and their sons, Liam Noke and Andrew Noke, her daughter Candice Noke and her wife Amy Tee, her son Brandon Noke, his wife Elizabeth Noke and their kids Maeve Noke and Michael Noke, her sister Mindi Carpinelli and her husband David Barney, her brothers Pat Leighton and Larry Leighton, as well as many nieces and nephews and her beloved Warnock family.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday, December 15 from 4-7pm. Her Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Saturday, December 16 at 10am  followed by interment at Lindenwood Cemetery, Montvale Ave, Stoneham.
