FLEETWOOD CENTENARIAN
Edith M. (Heffner) Zentner, 101, of Fleetwood, died peacefully, Friday, October 3, 2025, in Reading Hospital - Tower Health, West Reading. She was the widow of Harvey W. Zentner, who died March 26, 2005. Born in Shartlesville, Upper Bern Township, Berks County, Edith was a daughter of the late Kirby W., and Via (Adams) Heffner. She was a member of Lighthouse Community Church, Lyon Station.
Edith worked as a sales representative for Avon Beauty Products for over 54 years. She earned numerous company sales awards during her career as an "Avon Lady".
Eddy was an active member of the ladies auxiliary of Kutztown Fire Company and Fleetwood Senior Citizens.
Edith is survived by her children, The Reverend Alton R., husband of Debbie Jean (McElroy) Zentner, Fleetwood; and Jane E. (Zentner), widow of William W. Folk, Blandon; Other survivors include grandchildren: Jennifer R. (Folk) Peters; The Reverend John W. Folk; Benjamin R. Zentner; Joel W. Zentner; Heather E. (Zentner) Masemore; Susan (Holick) Wetzel; and Joseph Holick; great grandchildren: Alex Edinger; Adalie (Zentner) Tincher; Andrew Zentner; Elaina Zentner; Ethan Zentner; Lexi Zentner; Austin Zentner; Owen Zentner; Aiden Zentner; Jolyah Zentner; Caleb Masemore; Ember Masemore; Alyssa Masemore; Titus Masemore; Ephram Masemore; Elizabeth Masemore and Bittany Holick; great-great grandchildren: Hawthorne Holick; Elleana Tincher and Cooper Tincher. In addition to her parents and husband, Harvey, Edith was predeceased by two grandsons, Christopher Zentner and Nathan Zentner; and a brother, Norman Heffner.
A public viewing will be held on Sunday evening October 12, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood, officiated by her son, The Reverend Alton R. Zentner. The family requests contributions be considered in Edith's memory to Lighthouse Community Church PO Box 287, Lyon Station, PA 19536-0287.
