DEEB, Edmond "Eddie" Theodore, 66, of Richmond, VA passed away November 6, 2023.

Eddie is preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary Kotoch Deeb and Theodore Michael Deeb. He is survived by his brother, William Michael Deeb (Jeannie) Deeb; sister, Diane Deeb Clay (Robert); niece and nephew, Mackenzie Birkitt and Landon Clay; and numerous cousins that he dearly loved.

Eddie grew up in Richmond, VA and graduated from JR Tucker High School and was offered a full scholarship to play football at Middle Tennessee State University where he graduated in 1980.

Prior to his unexpected passing to be with the Lord, he lived a full and abundant life.

Eddie was an Area Manager for Performance Foodservice Tidewater covering the Richmond area. He enjoyed a very successful career, winning multiple awards. Eddie loved his company, colleagues, and his customers with many becoming lifelong friends.

He cherished his family, Lebanese & Greek culture and always entertained them at holiday and family events. In addition to being a family man, he had an extensive network of friends that he loved and loved being with to share stories and good times. He truly defined what a friend is all about in maintaining lifelong relationships.

A sports fanatic, he excelled in football in high school & college. He cherished his teammates, and those bonds continue today.

Eddie was devoted to working out, going to the gym, starting the day there and staying in great shape. He was also devoted to his yard and garden, ensuring it was meticulously maintained.

He loved to travel which was often and his travels took him all over, enjoying many adventures.

Eddie was a fiercely loyal loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a dapper dresser, a lover of good food and cigars. In addition, he was a stranger to no one and all who knew him, loved him.

His good-natured & caring personality, hearty laugh and smile will be greatly missed by all.

Family & Friends will be received at Bliley's Central Chapel - 3801 Augusta Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23230 – Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. – Prayer Service at 6 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral – 30 Malvern Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23221- Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served after the service with interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23238.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Malvern Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23221.

I haven't seen Eddie in some time and am saddened to hear of his passing. He was always kind to me and a lot of fun. My deepest condolences to his family. Much love to you, old friend.

Been a long time but had great memories of playing football with Eddie.
He had a quiet strength and confidence in his abilities. He was a great competitor and feared no-one across the line from him.
