Edmonds "Eddie" Tennent BROWN III Edmonds "Eddie" Tennent Brown III, 61, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Nancy James Brown passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. A Celebration of Eddie's Life will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at a later date in Riverview Memorial Park. Eddie was born March 5, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Celia McCleary Brown and the late Edmonds Tennent Brown, Jr. A graduate of Moultrie High School, he retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard where he was a Supervisor in the Tool and Die Shop. Eddie was a member of ECOMC (East Cooper Outboard Motor Club), and was an avid fisherman. He loved to be on the water, but even more, he loved Mount Pleasant and you could always find him right there. Anyone who encountered Eddie, would meet a man known for his generosity and big heart; always doing for others. He loved to tinker in his hobby shop, garage, and enjoyed his hobby of RC planes, cars, and boats. For Eddie, one of his greatest joys was his family and he especially loved his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his mother, Celia M. Brown of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his son, Eddie (Danielle) Brown, IV of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Caroline Brown and Edmonds Brown V; and his sisters, Anne (Richard) Hart of James Island, SC, and Nana Brown of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in Eddie's memory to ECOMC, 1560 Ben Sawyer Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
