She was born in Liberty, MS. on December 21, 1949 to John Paul and DeLacey Aaron.
She is a graduate of Miss, State College for Women (1972) and worked 34 years at Buffalo Services (1981 - 2015).
Beyond her professional years, Edna Clair enjoyed life to the fullest, traveling and making memories. One of her favorite memories was riding motor cycles to Old Mexico.
Clair was the life of the party and never met a stranger.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Stanley Bell and Jerry Thacker.
She is survived by her sister Phyllis Aaron Daves; son Koby Thacker (Tanil), their children Kade, Karson, and Kamile; nieces Paula and Carla, Paula (Chris Dupuy), Bryce and Presley, Carla (Haney) Ambrose, Ronnie (Kristina) Eppinett-Ryder and Samara; Summer (Robert) Day – Hunter and Maisyn; Drae Ambrose, and Skylar Ambrose.
Graveside services will be held Thursday November 20, 2025, at 2:00 P.m. at Zion Hill Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Bart Houston.
Pallbearers are Haney Ambrose, Drae Ambrose, Ronnie Eppinett, Robert Day, Chris Dupuy, and Butch Shuckrow.
Honorary Pallbearer Bryce Dupuy.

Aunt Clair, you were one of the best. They broke the mold when they made you. What fun we know you are having in Heaven with Uncle Jerry, Mrs. Ginger and Mr. Champ and all your loved ones. We bet y'all are cutting up at that joyful reunion. You will sure be so missed. You were an amazing Aunt and friend. See you on the upside! We'll keep Koby, your sister and all the family in our prayers for comfort down here on earth. We love you!
