Grace Hoff

Grace Louise Lutz Hoff, 87of Terrytown Louisiana, went home to the Lord, peacefully on October 22, 2025.

Born on September 2 1938 in Zelienople Pennsylvania. Grace was the daughter of the late Lewis E Lutz and Etta Mae Hartzel Lutz. She is survived by her sister Judith Bellis, and was proceed in death by her sister's Shirley (Tootie) Turley and Betty Riehl.

Survivors also include two sons, Joseph W. Hoff and Lewis L. Hoff; two daughters Linda Mixter and husband Steve, and Laura Pettigrew and husband Mike; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

After graduating from high school in Evan City Pennsylvania. She was employed by The Elizabeth W Murphy School in Dover Delaware. She was a house mother for many children in unfortunate circumstances. While working there she met Joseph B Hoff.

In 1966 she married Joe and together they built a loving home filled with love, laughter and learning. Grace was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend. She Love the Lord with her whole heart.

Grace liked to stay busy so was employed by Jefferson Parish School after all of her children were school age. Grace had many jobs at Terrytown Elementary school and loved every minute of her days there. She enjoyed watching her children a grandchild as well as the children of friend and former students succeed. Grace retired from the school system around the year 2000 to spend more time with her family.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, Mississippi from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church in Liberty, MS.

Grace will be laid to rest on November 1st 2025 at Woodland Cemetery. The pallbearers will include Jason Zuniga, Brian Zuniga, Jim Turley, Michael Pettigrew, David Hoff and Keith Sims.
