Edna Carothers Obituary
Edna Faye Carothers, age 84, of Russellville, died Friday, September 26, 2025, at Baptist Health and Medical in Conway. She was born March 20, 1941, in Atkins to R.A. and Loretta Isabell Warren.
She was a member of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church and an Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ila Katherine Maston.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Charles Franklin Carothers; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Kerrie Carothers of Russellville and Nathan and Christy Carothers of Dover; a brother and sister-in-law, James Carl and Arlene Warren of Atkins; six grandchildren, Jonathan and Mariah Carothers, Garrett Carothers, Whitney Carothers, T.J. and Allie Burleson, Caden and Olivia Carothers and Claire Carothers; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny McCoy and the Rev. John Thomas McCoy officiating. Burial will be in St. Joe Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-6 p.m., at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mike Maston, Keith Maston, Darren Warren, Johnny "Lucky" Warren, Caden Carothers, Jonathan Carothers, Kevin Aday, and Danny Kirby.
