Edna M. (Fusco) Casolino, 98, of Orange, the beloved wife of the late Philip Casolino passed away peacefully at her home on January 20, 2025 (just 4 days short of her 99th Birthday) surrounded by her beloved family. She was born January 24, 1926, the daughter of the late Sebastian and Anna (Sperandeo) Fusco. She was a graduate of Annhurst College (Woodstock, CT). Along with her sisters and mother Anna established a women's retail lingerie business, Saxon Kent in Derby, and later a second store was opened in Orange. In addition, she and her two sisters, Marion and Anita with their mother founded the St. Anne's Pilgrim Society of New Haven. Their mission was to bring pilgrims to the Miraculous Shrines in Quebec, Canada. This family pilgrimage tradition has lasted 85 years. She was a professed Third Order Dominican since 1972. Edna leaves behind a legacy of love and faith. She lived her life everyday wishing and praying for all to live in peace, with love, happiness and gratitude! She is survived by her four beloved children, David Casolino and Wife Carol Ann of Orange, Elizabeth D'Amato and husband Francesco of Hamden, Thomas Casolino of Orange, and Andrew Casolino and wife Catherine of Old Saybrook. She is also survived by 9 loving grandchildren, Francesca and her fiancé Shawn, Nathan and wife Alyssa, Nick and wife Jamie, Jenecke and husband Mike, Jessie and husband JP, Alyssa, Christa and husband Jake, Michael and Grace; her beloved 5 great-grandchildren, Bradon, Blake, Brenna, Sofia and Viviana. Please join Edna's family for a prayerful visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Rd, in Orange. Following the visitation a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Avenue in West Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edna's name to Our Lady of Grace Monastery, 11 Race Hill Rd., North Guilford CT.
