Funeral services for Edna Roberts Sexton, 75, of Tyler, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home, with Bro. Tom Bragdon officiating. Interment will follow at Leagueville Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sexton passed away on February 17, 2025, in Tyler.
Edna Laverne (Culpepper) Roberts Sexton was born on November 28, 1949, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Jerry Lamar Culpepper, Sr. and Edna May (Williams) Culpepper. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the East Texas area for 15 years. Edna enjoyed playing bingo and card games, fishing, and spending time with her family. She was a giving woman whose generosity touched many lives, leaving a lasting impact that will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony Roberts; two sons, Anthony Roberts and Danny Paul Roberts; her siblings, Jerry Culpepper, Jr., Eugune Culpepper, Ray Culpepper, Jimmy Culpepper, and Bobby Culpepper.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Sexton of Tyler; her son, Jerry Roberts and wife Tamela of Brownsboro; her brothers, Wayne Culpepper and wife Lori of Canton and Frank Culpepper of Tyler; her grandchildren, Corey Suedkamp, Katie Suedkamp, Gavin Roberts, and Paxton Roberts; and her sister-in-law, Jeanetta Culpepper.
A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home prior to the service.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
