Edna Prior Obituary
Loving mother of Lee Nelson. Beloved Nan to Hannah (Daniel) Driscoll and Harriet McMorrow and Great-grandnanny of Reuben and Silas Driscoll. Much loved dear friends Valerie, Tony, Suzanne and her beloved caregivers Christina and Dawn.
Edna was born in Brixton, London on September 11th, 1928. Her devoted father died during World War I and was raised by her mother Harriet and sister Pat, where they spent many days in Clapham Common tube station to avoid the bombings.
Edna came to America in 1996 to join her sister Pat and settled in Palm Springs where they enjoyed bingo, happy hours and their love of animals.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd, at 1:30pm at Wiefels & Son Funeral Home, 690 S. Vella Road, Palm Springs, CA 92264.
With Edna's devotion to animals, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Palm Springs Animal Shelter, 4574 Mesquite Ave., Palm Springs, CA 92264
