Edna Louise Stephens, 87 of Blountstown and formerly of Alford, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, in Marianna. Edna was born May 7, 1937, in West Bay, Florida to the late Ronal and Ester Wise and worked as a purchasing agent for the Florida Department of Corrections. She was also a member of the Timberlane Church of Christ in Tallahassee, Florida.
In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Stephens, her brother, Willie D. Wise and her sisters, Thelma Scott and Annie Pearl Story.
Survivors include her son, Michael Kent and his wife Heather; her brothers, A.J. Wise and Royce Jean Wise; her sisters, Glenda Downs and Merline Cooke and her grandchildren, Chloe and Hayden.
Services to honor Edna’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Lee Jamison officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Memorial Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
