Edna Strickler Obituary

Edna Catherine Strickler, 68, of Woodstock, VA passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at Life Care Center in New Market. A visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Service in Edinburg on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Ms. Strickler was born April 9, 1957, in Virginia, daughter of the late Harper Strickler. She worked as a custodian for Triplett Tech. She is preceded in death by her son, Jesse Rhinehart.

She is survived by her son, William H. Andrews Jr. "Jay" and wife, Martha of Edinburg, VA and grandchildren, Caleb, Isaac, and Evan.

Edna loved working at Triplett Tech and enjoyed interacting with the staff and students every day. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. Even the extended family called her "Granny". She was most known for her macaroni and cheese which you could count on having at every family gathering and was frequently requested to be made by family and friends.
