Mrs. Edna F. Tagert, age 88, and a resident of Polkville, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from the Polkville Pentecostal Church with Bro. Barron Price and Bro. Jeremy Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 09, 2018 at the church.
Mrs. Tagert was a lifelong resident of this area who will be remembered for her faith in her Lord, her love for her family and friends, and her satisfaction with the simple things of life. Favorite past times were going fishing and attending church, which was priority to her. She was a member of the Polkville Pentecostal Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Joe M. Tagert; her parents: Bill and Ellen Parker Harrell and all of her siblings. She is also preceded in death by one son-in-law: Sidney Pinter.
Survivors include her four children: Jennette (Bobby) Harrison, Betty (Billy) Phillipson, Billy Joe (Jimmie Nell) Tagert, and Faye Pinter, all of Polkville; seventeen grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
