Mrs. Edna Lee Weaver, age 90 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at her home surrounded by those she loved.
She was born on September 1, 1935 in Seneca, S.C. to the late William Lee and Sally Birdie Phillips Lee. Edna retired as a finance manager.
She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and she loved to read and spend time with family.
Left to cherish her memory is; her daughter, Cindy (Kevin) Demers of Hartwell, GA., siblings, Mack (Evelyn) Lee and Bill Lee. Granddaughter, Jessica Hembree, great-grandchildren, Madison Oglesby and Patrick Fleeman along with a great-great grandchild, Xavier Oglesby. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alton "Tap" Weaver, sister, Barbara Jean Baker, and her brother, Jack Lee.
Funeral services honoring Edna's life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 12 noon from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Terry Meeks and Rev. Forrest Ferguson officiating. She will be laid to rest with her beloved Tap at Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca.
The family will greet friends from 11-12 on Saturday just prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Family members will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in her memory to the American Heart Association.
