Edna Rhem Worthem, 79, of Norcross, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025 in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Edna was born March 6, 1946 in Lenoir County, North Carolina to Alonza Rhem and Clemmie Kornegay Rhem. She graduated from Adkin High School in 1964. She married Norwood Worthem in 1964 and traveled with him through his career in the U.S. Navy. They ultimately settled in Norcross, Georgia, to enjoy their later years.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Sybil Shaw, Mable Dean, Nancy Murriel, and her brother Alonza Rhem Jr. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Norwood E. Worthem; a sister Clemmie Rhem Bledsoe, sister-in-law Mary Rhem both of Kinston, North Carolina, nephew Michael Sutton, sister-in-law Willia Worthem, sister-in-law Pamela Jones, in-laws Mary Cauthorn Sanchez and Ray Sanchez, in-laws Melvin & Nellie Worthem, best friends Margaret Harry and Rosie Moore and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
