EDRIC RASHOD MORRIS, a beloved son and friend, passed away on August 1, 2025, in Cedar Hill, Texas. Born on July 17, 1983, in Dallas, Texas, Edris was known not only for his impressive career in security but also for the light he brought into the lives of those around him.
Edric was a man of vibrant personality. He had an extraordinary ability to light up a room with his smile, a testament to his unwavering joy and infectious spirit. His love for music and photography showcased his artistic side, while his strong wit endeared him to many. Friends often described him as a protector, a loyal companion who would go above and beyond for those he cared about.
He was an avid dye-hard fan of New Orleans sports teams, and his enthusiasm for gaming and being known as "Mr. Fix It" further highlighted his active engagement with the world around him. Edris had a special bond with his dog, Legend, showcasing his kind heart and tender nature.
The visitation to celebrate Edric's life will be held on August 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224.
Edric Rashod Morris leaves behind a legacy of joy, love, and laughter. He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
