Edwana Berriman, 78, a resident of Tamarack City passed away at her home on December 6, 2022.
She was born on June 30, 1944 in Ann Arbor MI to Edward and Margaret Gallagher.
She graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School.
She worked at Brighton trucking and Sears where she met her love of her
life David Berriman. They married on November 5, 1971 and had three children. After Dave had a life changing injury the family moved to Laurium.
Locally she was employed at the Houghton Big Boy restaurant for many years.
She was an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, Boy and Girl Scouts and TOPS.
Most recently she worked as a nurses aide and home health worker until her health declined.
She enjoyed reading Harlequin romance novels and baking goodies.
Proceeded her in death was: husband David Berriman, parents Edward and Margret Gallagher, sister Mary Oxender.
Survived by children: Dorothy (Dale) Junkin of Hubbell, Edward Berriman of Tamarack city, Tina (Ed) Crnkovich of Dollar Bay.
Grandchildren: Beth Junkin (Rob White), Sarah (John) Buss, Tanya Junkin (Jeremy Scott),
Jade Junkin (Robert Fetters), Katrina Elise and Dominic Berriman
Great Grandchildren: Octavyus Keon-Junkin, John William Buss, Abigail Jean Buss and
Norah Jean Junkin
Brothers Vince (Lea) Gallagher, Tom Gallagher (Mark Brill) and Edward Joseph Gallagher
Brother in Law Gary Oxender
Sister in law Margaret Gallagher
Numerous nieces/nephews, cousins and many special friends.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday December 12, 2022 at 3:00 PM in St. Paul the Apostle Church in Calumet with Fr. Gracious Pulimoottil to officiate.
Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton.
