Ed ,you will be truly be missed. I always enjoy being in your company. Always kind,very caring and a loving person. I was so blessed to be called your friend and so enjoyed our wonderful time together boating on the Connecticut river.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Ed passing. I went High School with him and also saw him at our 50th high school reunion. Ed was always a kind and gentle man. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Edward William Bagot Jr, 75, of Glastonbury, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Hartford Hospital. Edward was born in Hartford on February 25, 1950. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mary Bagot, and his brother, Robert Bagot.
He is survived by his brother John and his wife Rosemary; his two sons, Ed and Bill; his granddaughter Ashley and her husband Kris; his nephews John, Tom, and Mike; and his dog Bo.
Ed enjoyed boating and auto racing with his family. He was a longtime board member of the Hartford Yacht Club. Friday nights, Ed could be found at Stafford Motor Speedway, enjoying racing at his favorite track. He loved Lake George, New York, where he spent many summers with his family. Above all, Ed was a family man. He was built on trust, care, and respect.
He will always be remembered as the kind and gentle man he was.
A Memorial Service will be held at Brooklawn Funeral Home, 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, Connecticut, on Saturday, January 24, from2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Dog Star Rescue at P.O Box 721, Canton CT 06019 or dogstarrescue.org.
