Edward Bailey Obituary
The family will receive friends at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC from 6-8 PM on Monday January 19, 2026 and other times at the home of Pastor Eddie Bailey. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Kings Mountain Chapel Methodist Church, 1130 Philbeck Road, York, SC 29745. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Filbert Hwy, York, SC.
A native of York, Eddie was a son of the late Moffat Wylie Bailey, Sr. and the late Louise Parker Bailey, and the widower of Janice Turner Bailey. He was co-owner of B&T insulation company and an active member of Divine Glory Ministries in Kings Creek.
He is survived by his children, Tammy Hullett (Gary), Brad Bailey (Kristie), and Kimberly Bolin (Lee), one brother James Bailey (Diane) and 12 grandchildren along with 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his children, Edward Wayne Bailey, II and Sherry Lynn Bailey Settlemyer, along with his brothers Beetle Bailey, William Bailey and Robert Bailey.
In memory of Pastor Eddie Bailey memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105
