Rev. John "Richard" Little, age 83, of Sharon, South Carolina passed away peacefully at SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkinville, North Carolina on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Kingdom Church, 2105 Old York Rd, York, SC 29745 with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Allen Marsh, Pastor Jason Robbins, Bishop Ray Boggs, officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Memory Gardens, 1174 Filbert Hwy, York, SC. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post 12136 Honor Guard.

Richard was born on December 10, 1942 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late John Leroy Little and Ella Madgeline Lanier Little.

Richard loved his family, loved the Lord, and loved his country. He was a man of God with a passion of preaching and sharing Gods Word. He was a Pastor for 55 years bringing countless people to Christ, his last pastorate was at Jubilee Christian Center, and proudly served our country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Davis Little; his daughters, Tammy Absher (Bryce), Lorry Call (Ronnie), Vonnie Brown (Michael), and Melinda Marsh (Allen), along with his grandchildren; Tisha McManus (Michael), Damien Absher (Calah), Brandon John Call (Bethany), Leigha Dorton (Garrett), John Brown, Anna Brown, and Matthew Marsh (Erica). He is also survived by his great grandchildren; Gabriel Absher, Elora Absher, Kellan McManus, Cameron Gilfillan, Elizabeth Taylor, Astrid Marsh and Elodie Marsh.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his siblings, Joan Ballard, Judy Mead and Jack Little.

Memorials in Richard's memory may be made to Kingdom Church at 2105 Old York Rd. York, South Carolina 29745
