Dr. Edward Bouldin Jr.

1944 - 2025

Dr. Edward "Corky" or "Doc" J. Bouldin Jr., age 81, of Irwin, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025. He was born May 17, 1944, in Anniston, Alabama, a son of the late Edward and Clarrissa Bouldin Sr. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Irwin. He was a highly decorated Army combat medic having served in Vietnam. After his military service, he earned a degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and then went on to get a degree from the National Chiropractic College in Illinois. For over 40 years, he had his own chiropractic office in New Stanton and then Irwin. He was the owner of Bouldin Sporting Equipment for over 30 years. He was a member and Past Master of Shidle Lodge 601, Free and Accepted Masons in Irwin. He was also a Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star 400 in Irwin. He was a member of the Bromas Club, Irwin American Legion, and the VFW in Irwin. He is survived by his children, William (Leslie) Bouldin of North Huntingdon and Barbara (Ken) Wees of Hempfield Township; Grandchildren Alexander (Hannah) Wees, Kacey Wees, William Bouldin Jr. and Christina Bouldin; sisters Anne (Steve) Sensenich of Boiling Springs and Emeline (Bill) Lucas of Mechanicsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 28th, at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 617 Main Street in Irwin. Interment will be on Thursday, July 31st at 2:30 p.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
