BRANNER, Mr. Edward – age 78, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at Trinity Health in Pontiac, Michigan. Family hour 10:00AM Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, 250 Fisher Avenue, with funeral commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Pastor Rodney N. Tolbert, Sr., officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble 10:00AM at the church Saturday. Mr. Branner will lie instate in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, and may be viewed between the hours of 12:00PM – 6:00PM Friday.
Mr. Branner leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Eunice Branner; children, Valetta D. Graham, Jesse Lee (Sherri) King and Peggy S. (Lee) King; grandchildren, Kalisa (Toni) King-Lee, Alexandria (Kenneth) Sargent, Antione (Najiyyah) Wiggins, Jomar Graham, Jessica King and Jesse King, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Tiera, Natalia, Christopher and Jalen; siblings, Tereatha Conley, Patricia Powell, Marietta (George) Muskeyvalley, Berlinda Branner, Kelvin (Tamara) Roddy, Verneita (Lou) Kemp, Lazanda Branner and Myron Branner; and a host of other relatives and friends, including special sister-in-law, Cora Musgraves, special brother-in-law, Lou Kemp, special nephew, Reverend JaMar Pittman and close friend, Satch.
Mr. Branner was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Bernice Branner, Sr.; grandparents, Exermena Cooper-Sharp and Walter Sharp; siblings, Theodrious Branner, Cheryl Randolph, Jerry Branner, Anthony Branner and Shellie Branner; brothers-in-law, Thomas Benton, Jr. and Leon Conley; and sister-in-law, Ann Benton.
