Burke, age 81, of Elmhurst, educator with CPS with over 30 years of service, active parishioner, Ministry of Care Member and Religious Education teacher at Immaculate Conception, Elmhurst; former PTA President and active PTA parent; Scout Master, Little League Coach; beloved husband of Mary Ellen, nee Kane for 56 years; loving father of John Burke, Kathleen (Mark) Krause and Maureen Burke; proud grandfather of Emma, Kaitlyn and Colin Krause; dear brother of Kathleen (John) Amato, Mary (Robert) Bezouska, Joanne (Thomas) Colgan and the late Nancy Ditore and Brother-in-law of Bishop Francis Kane, Regina (Charles) Millington, Joseph (Sara) Kane and James Kane; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
