Edward was born on March 10, 1956, in Hanford, California, to Manuel Calderon and Carmen Calderon, who preceded him in death. From an early age, Edward learned the values of hard work, dedication, and family-values he carried with him throughout his life.

Edward dedicated many years of his life to his career as a truck driver, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. He spent countless hours on the road, always working hard to support those he loved, and he took pride in the life he built through his labor.

Above all else, Edward was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Lupe Calderon, and his children: Irma Castro, Edward Calderon Jr., Manuel Calderon, and Lupita Calderon. He was a proud grandfather to Leonard Castro Jr,, Rebekah Calderon, Noah Calderon, and Jessikah Calderon, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
