Edward L. Daub

Edward L. Daub, 62, passed away peacefully in Ocean Springs, MS on Saturday January 27, 2024. Edward was born November 10, 1961 at Biloxi Regional Hospital. The second of four children, he grew up in Ocean Springs. Edward often enjoyed the outdoors and reading his Bible. Eddie was a faithful Christian from an early age and did his best to share his faith throughout his life. A graduate from OSHS Class of 1981 and went on to MS State, earning a Bachelors degree in Computer Science in 1986. From there he went on to work for the USAF as a Systems Development Specialist in San Antonio, TX. Remembered as a quiet, reserved type of guy that enjoyed long walks, working in the yard and on his car. He was the type to always lend a hand wherever he saw a need. He deeply enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A loving son, brother, uncle, and trusted friend, Eddie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceded by his parents James Leonard Daub and Rita Luise Daub-Pitts; two brothers John C. and James A. Daub; sister-in-law Deborah Daub; brother-in-law David McLaurin; and niece, Morgan Daub. Left to cherish his memories are his step-father Braxton Pitts; his sister Deborah McLaurin; his niece Natasha (JG) St. Arnaud; his nephew Gerrad (Kathryn) McLaurin of Maryland, and all of Ocean Springs. Eddie leaves a legacy of two great-nieces and a nephew; Kaylee King, Shelby Hudson, and Milo McLaurin, along with other extended family and friends.
His final wishes were to be cremated, which the family is honoring. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
