Edward Earl Davidson, age 77, of Lynchburg, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, at home. He was born on Sept. 28, 1948, in Hillsboro, OH, the son of the late Robert F. Davidson and Evelyn West Davidson.
Ed was a United States Army Vietnam War Veteran. Graduated from Lynchburg Clay High School and was a member of the Allensburg Church of Christ, and a life member of the VFW and DAV.
Surviving is his brother and sister-in-law, Terry & Pam Davidson, of Lynchburg, sister-in-law, Patty Davidson, of Melbourne, FL, many nieces & nephews and great nieces and great nephews, step-children, Rita (Mike) McDonald, of Lynchburg, Cindy Eleyet, of Hillsboro, Henry (Debbie) Van Gundy of Portsmouth, and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Martin Davidson, and a brother, Larry Davidson.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, with Pastor Bob Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Barnes Cemetery, Fairview, Ohio, where the Highland County Veterans Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
