Though I didn't know him well. I knew his Daughter Lynn both she and I had a Church singles group that we headed up on Sunday nights after Services every week. I met her father and mother they attended Services once in awhile. Very pleasant and nice. Indeed with much condolences to the family of the loss of a very well-known man.

Please let me express sincere regrets on your father´s passing.
We were cousins and grew up together in New Haven. Your father was older and helped me through elementary school not only because of my age, bus also because we arrived from Germany and I spoke very little English. We lived couple of years with the Dickus family and attended the same school. Ed was a great help and a great cousin. In winters we worked together shoveling snow to earn few dollars. After leaving New Haven to serve the military ai had little opportunity to see him, but I always remembered him as a very close relative and a good friend. I called him while he was in the nursing home, but had little success to talk to him. My wife Ruta express her condolences as well. She lived In New Haven while I was in the service, and got to know your and mother farther well. It is their kindness we remember most.
With condolences we express regrets
Sincerely.

Mr. Dickus was one of my teachers at Fair Haven. We would always talk baseball. I couldn´t wait to go to that class. He was a great teacher and a great man. MAY HE REST IN PEACE.
