Edward Duarte

Edward “Lalo” Duarte, 46, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. On that day, he shared his final heartfelt smile, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness.

Lalo was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother—a humble family man who would do anything for those he loved. He was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, effortlessly turning strangers into friends with his warm smile and genuinely caring heart. One of the kindest and most gentle souls, Lalo had a quiet way of showing love that meant everything to those closest to him.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures: spending time with family, enjoying good food, and listening to great music. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and light to every room he entered.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Crystal Duarte; his children, Anthony, Christian, Aliyah, Nathan, and Cynthia; his two grandchildren; his mother, Eva Duarte; his stepfather, Frank Buczynski; and his siblings, Ruben, George, Hector, Diana, and Freddy, as well as a large and loving extended family and countless friends whose lives he touched.

Edward will be remembered for his heart of gold and the love he shared so freely—a love that made life brighter for everyone who knew him.

A viewing and service will be held on April 18, with burial to follow on the morning of April 19.
