Edward "Ed" Cashwell Obituary
Edward "Ed" Michael Cashwell, 71, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, December 9. 2024 surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Helen Cashwell, daughter Kimberly Summerlin, daughter Dana Hicks, son Dwight Cashwell, and son Bryant W. Hicks I.
Ed was survived by his wife, Joyce Randolph Cashwell, sister Ann Cashwell, brother Freddie Cashwell, son George Cashwell, grandchildren Wade Hicks and Aaron Hicks as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and spending time with his family. He was a marine fishery officer for 11 years, a shrimp boat captain for two years and owned a body shop for 25 years. He impacted many lives with his generosity and kindness. He loved to joke and act up and always had a project for you. Ed will be missed by all that knew him.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 2-3 pm at the Open Door Ministries of Elizabethtown followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 pm with the Brother Dale Taylor officiating.
