Edward L. Wilson, 80, of Battle Creek, MI, and Portage, MI, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, following an illness. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, on February 16, 1945, to Charles (Ed) Wilson and Barbara (Powell) Wilson.

Eddie graduated from Lakeview High School in Battle Creek, MI, in 1963. He earned a degree from Western Michigan before being drafted into the Army. Eddie retired from Ralston Purina after 36 Years of service.

Eddie married Carole J Cuyler in 1969. They spent their years together buying, selling, and hunting for antiques. One of their favorite places was the East Coast in the fall.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Barbara (Powell) Wilson, his younger brother William (Billy) Wilson, and his wife Carole (Cuyler) Wilson.

Surviving are his sister Carol (Wilson) Canfield of Portage, MI, and two nephews, Darryl Bria of Conway, AR, and Darrick Bria of Battle Creek, MI.

Per Eddie's wishes, cremation has taken place, and he will be buried next to his wife, Carole, in Coldwater, Michigan.

There are no services planned at this time.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, 616-452-3006.
