Edward J. Ethier, Jr., 68, of Cranston passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
He was born in Providence on October 13, 1955, a son of the late Edward J. and Marion (Graichen) Ethier, Sr.
Ed was a big lover of Golf in a league of gentlemen called Sunburst at Triggs Memorial Golf Course. He also loved going to Iggys and grabbing clam cakes and chowder and Fish and chips. Ed had a love for the Beatles music and collecting memorabilia. Edward owned a cleaning business for 30 years called Kleen sweep Janitorial with a bunch of clients that cared and respected him through the years. Having the latest new gadgets of electronics was something else Ed loved having. He was a loving father and grampa always staying in touch with his family.
He leaves his son, Steven Ethier and wife, Staceylee Ethier, three grandchildren, Emilee-Rose Gregelevich, Anthony-Michael Ethier, and Connor-Edward Ethier; a brother, Brian Ethier, and a sister-in-law, Maureen Ethier. He was the brother of the late Dennis Ethier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Edward on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 10 am in Saint Rita Church, 722 Oakland Beach Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island. Arrangements are by the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home of West Warwick..
