While it´s been years since I saw Ed, from the time I joined St Joes in 2006, we became fast friends, you couldn´t help but get to know Ed if you ever went to St Joes due to the fact he was always there, from opening up the church first thing in the morning and he continued to perform duties throughout the day. Ed literally ran St Joseph´s Church, and he ran it like a fine machine. If you had a problem, Ed always knew the answer and solution. Since Ed´s health prevented him from continuing to spend his days at the church, the church has never been the same. The church is no cleaned that well anymore, as well the church is breaking down as no one was there to monitor and check on things before it fell into ruin.Everyone noticed the difference when Ed was gone. While the young people may not remember Ed, the one thing I could say about Ed, his faith was embolden by his faith, He loved Jesus, and if you saw him busy around the parish, you could see that. I miss you my dear Ed, thank you for our friendship and your love of our church. I´ll see you " upstairs" God willing, Lynne
