Edward Gannon Obituary
Born in New York, NY, Ed lived in Budd Lake, NJ before settling in Flanders in 1965. He worked for many years as a Maintenance Mechanic for Agfa in Somerville, NJ, until his retirement.
Ed proudly served our country in the United States Navy during peacetime.
He was an avid bowler and once achieved the rare distinction of bowling a perfect 300 game. He cherished his trips to Florida, where he enjoyed the warm weather, the beach, and-most of all-time spent with family. In his younger years, Ed was a skilled motorcycle mechanic and a devoted Honda enthusiast. He owned and operated his own motorcycle repair shop throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Ed always made people smile and was a friend to all who knew him.
Ed was predeceased by his son, Robert Gannon.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sandra Gannon; three sons, Edward Gannon, Scott Gannon (Christina), and James Gannon; his step-children, Lisa Holihan (Thomas) and Frank Medor (Andrea); and seven grandchildren: Bella, Joshua, James, Mia, Matthew, Michael, and Jacob.
Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4:00-6:30 PM at Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main St., Netcong, NJ. A funeral service will conclude the visitation at 6:30 PM.

Memorial contributions in Ed's name may be made to 11th Hour Rescue at ehrdogs.org.
