Edward Arthur Griffith

Edward Arthur Griffith, 74, of Anderson, California, passed away on December 22, 2025. He was born April 4, 1951, in Oakland, California, to Arthur Norris Griffith and Alta Jeanne Graham. Edward worked for many years as an aircraft mechanic specializing in air brakes and air stairs at Airweld and Kaiser Air in Oakland. In 1971, he was drafted into the U.S. military and sent to Germany for training before returning home due to an injury. Edward loved camping, the outdoors, and traveling back roads. He was an avid handyman, a passionate LEGO builder who proudly boasted an impressive collection, and was well known for going all out with Halloween and Christmas decorations-delighting in scaring neighborhood kids, making them laugh, and creating memories that will be cherished for years to come. He was deeply devoted to his family and always willing to help friends however he could. Edward is survived by his wife, Marjorie Lee Packard Griffith; his children, Adrienne Carter, Jesse Griffith, and Brandon Griffith; his grandson, Justin Carter; his sister, Beth Racicot; his brothers, Ben Gentry and Tom Griffith; and his stepmother, Connie Layman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Brett Webb; his brothers, Dave Casaray, Bruce Gentry, and Mike Gentry; and his sister, Rene Durham. Services will be announced at a later time.
