Edward Hanley Obituary
Besides his wife Ed leaves two sons Edward J. Hanley IV, and wife Kristin, Sean P. Hanley and wife Dawn, two grandchildren William and AnaClaire Hanley. He is reunited with his granddaughter, Mia Catherine Hanley in heaven. In addition, he leaves his sister Linda Hanley of Cranston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 15, 2026 at 10:00am in the Holy Apostles Church 800 Pippen Orchard Road Cranston. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 14, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations to Duke University Priya's Pompe Research C/O Culver Scales Executive Director of Development Duke Children's & Duke Surgery 300W. Morgan Streets Suite 1000 Durham, NC 27701. or www.gifts.duke.edu/dch?designation=3914261 would be appreciated.

Ed so sorry for lost of your father, my deepest condolences to you and your family. i knew your dad back in the day with youth golfers just starting out helping in the various youth programs at Cranston Country Club. Your dad's work didn't get unnoticed but somehow I must have slip through the cracks i never improved. But he's a proud Popa watching his prodigy son grow into a fine young man, grow a family and help other duffers better their golf abilities. Cherish all the memories, and may god bless you and your family.
