Edward Harts Jr, born on August 10, 1948, in Lettsworth, Louisiana, passed away on April 5, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He lived a life marked by dedication and service, having retired as a supervisor from McConnell Company. Edward also proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Family was an important part of Edward's life. He is survived by his brother, Earnest Lee Harts (Linda Harts), and his sister, Gloria Dean Spears (Philip Spears). His legacy continues through his children, Brandy Michelle Harts (Master Lee Day Jr.) and Jonathan Harts, along with his grandchildren, Zyiere Harts and Miranda Day. Edward also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Harts Sr., and his mother, Lessie B. Lewis. Edward is also preceded by his sisters, Lille Mae Antoine, Bobbie Jones, and Shirley Robinson, as well as his nephew, Jarvis Robinson.
A memorial service with military honors will be held on May 6, 2025, at The Church International in St Amant, Louisiana. Visitors are welcome to pay their respects starting at 10:00 AM, with the service commencing at 11:00 AM.
