Ed was far more than just a fellow fan in the stands. For many years he was the quiet, kind, and wise soul who anchored Section 20 at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. We are grateful to of sat next to him for so many years. He made it easy to welcome him into our family and tailgate crew. Ed introduced us to his friends, who also became our friends. He always made our children feel as though they were a part of the action no matter their age. My boys were always encouraged by Ed and both have very fond memories of sitting next to him, or chatting with him at the tailgate pre and post game. He had a gift for making every person feel seen, and every conversation feel meaningful. He thoroughly enjoyed the break in the third quarter to cheer on "His Team", he and I would then share our critiques of the OU Pom Team.
We will forever cherish all the memories!
Boomer Sooner, Ed! We will miss you!

My sincere condolences to the Family during the loss of your love one. I felt like I got to know him through Ms Gloria Fletcher,
CEO, owner of, Sister's With A Purpose inc. It was said that he was a very kind and generous man. She spoke often and highly of him.
May the Family know he is now in the arms of Peace.
