Edward Henry Obituary
Edward Allen Henry,79, of Rockingham, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Pruitt Health in Rockingham.
Mr. Henry was born on September 24, 1946 in Buffalo, New York, a son of the late Thomas Leroy and Betty Althen Henry. He retired as an aviation machinist with Scott Aviation. He was a scout master with the Boy Scouts in Cheektowaga, New York and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas Henry and Linda Bunn.
Surviving are his children Kimberly Kent, Matthew Henry, Elaine Sticklett (Jon), Darlene Brown, (James), Jeremy Henry (Anna Henry), Kara Miller (Tony Brewer); grandchildren Joshua Lisk (Emily Floyd), Kayla Lisk, Samantha Bumgarner (Ethan) Kailaya Miller, Kyler Miller and Geno Stricklett; great grandchildren Liam Bumgarner, Brynlee Bumgarner, Macy Stricklett, Madison Stricklett, Geno Stricklett, Jr., and Emma Lisk; step-great-grandchildren, Damien Ward and Sophie Floyd, and siblings, Michael Henry, Paul Henry, Steven Henry and Susan Schwab.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 pm Monday, November 3, 2025, at Northam Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Sunday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
