Edward Hermann, from The Villages, Florida, passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 72 after a long illness. He was surrounded by the love of his wife and daughters. He was a devoted husband, proud Eagle Scout, and a lover of laughter. He brought jokes and humor into the lives of all who knew him.
Ed was raised in Wisconsin and attended UW Madison School of Pharmacy, graduating in 1976. He began a long and fulfilling career as a pharmacist dedicated to helping others. He was the pharmacy manager at the Layton Avenue Walmart store in Greenfield, Wisconsin from its opening in 1989 until his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing cards with friends and family. He could often be found watching his favorite TV shows from Hogan's Heroes to Hallmark movies or his favorite sports team.
Ed's love of technology and electronics made him the go-to person for any gadget questions, and he took great pride in staying up-to-date with the latest tech, especially his beloved Tesla, which he drove with a gleam in his eye.
Ed is survived by his mother Marilyn Hermann, his wife Mary Hermann, two daughters Juliana (Jim) Fuller, Annmarie (Jordan) Miller, three grandsons Caleb and Ryan Miller and Miles Fuller as well as his sister Cheri (Dennis) Heimdahl and brother Dale (Luann) Hermann.
