Edward Ingram Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Jan. 13, 2026.
INGRAM, Edward "Ed", age 94, of Oregonia, passed away at Ohio Living Quaker Heights in Waynesville.

Ed retired from General Motors after 41 years of dedicated service, working in quality control. He was a faithful member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

In his free time, Ed enjoyed traveling, especially to Arizona, Alaska, and Florida. He took great pride in his accomplishments throughout life. He raced horses in the Lebanon Raceway. He raised animals, including goats, chickens, and dogs. A former boxer, Ed was truly a jack-of-all-trades and was known by many as "Mr. Fix-It." He especially enjoyed riding motorcycles with his dog, Max, by his side.

Ed was witty, straightforward, kind, and confidently boastful in a good-natured way. He enjoyed helping others and was always willing to lend a hand whenever something neededto be repaired or figured out. Among many things, Ed will be remembered for his strong work ethic, independence, and his ability to fix just about anything.

Ed was preceded in death by his wife of 12 years, Mary Ingram; his parents, Sterling and Addie Ingram; his brothers, Ronald, Herman, James, Ray, and Lafe; and his sisters, Edna and Opal. He is survived by his children, Linda Sue (Butch) Heinzman, Cheryll (Charlie) Farley, Jewell (Mark) Brainard, and Addie (Rich) Long; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his sisters, Irene and Virginia; and extended family and friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice. Condolences may be expressed at https://www.stubbsconner.com.
